Because great teams aren’t built by accident.
At our company, we believe the best work happens when everyone gets to do what they’re naturally good at—and what brings them energy. That’s where the Working Genius Framework comes in.
It’s kind of like a personality test, but instead of focusing on your quirks or zodiac sign, it helps us understand how you get stuff done—and what part of the work you actually enjoy.

What is the Working Genius?
The Working Genius Framework breaks down work into six types of genius. Every person has:
2 Geniuses: This is what gives you energy—you love doing this.
2 Competencies: You're good at this, but it doesn’t fire you up.
2 Frustrations: This stuff drains you. It’s not your jam.
The six types are:
|
Genius Type |
What it means |
|
Wonder |
You love thinking big and asking “what if?” |
|
Discernment |
You can spot good ideas and know what will work. |
|
Galvanizing |
You rally people around an idea and get them moving. |
|
Enablement |
You love helping others and jumping in where needed. |
|
Tenacity |
You’re a finisher. You love seeing things through to the end. |
|
Invention |
You like coming up with brand-new ideas from scratch. |
Why Does This Matter?
We ask every new hire to take this short assessment before they join our team. Here’s why:
- It helps us build teams with a healthy mix of strengths.
- It prevents burnout—we don’t want someone stuck doing work that drains them.
- It helps you know yourself better and sets you up to do your best work.
Think of it like a superhero team. We don’t want five people with laser vision and no one who can fly. We need balance.
What It’s Not About
The Working Genius isn’t about labeling people or boxing anyone in. It’s not a test you can “pass” or “fail.” It’s simply a tool to help us all communicate better, respect each other’s strengths, and get more done—together.
Want to Learn Your Genius?
We love seeing how people light up when they discover their geniuses. If you're curious about your own Working Genius profile, click here to check out the assessment—it only takes about 10 minutes.
👉 Heads up: The assessment isn’t free, but we’ll cover the cost for anyone moving forward in our hiring process. All we need is your permission to get started. Once you give us the green light, we’ll purchase the assessment on your behalf and send it your way.
It’s one small step that helps both of us see if we’re a great fit—for the role, the team, and the bigger picture we’re building together.
